The Education Department received a written request for a school at Maddington from The Gosnells Road Board on 22nd October 1909.
In 1927 the school was reclassified to a Class V school and Mr. Patrick Moy assumed duties as Headmaster.
In 1952 the school was reclassified up to a Class IV with the appointment of Mr. Fred Hollings as Headmaster.
Grade 6 - 1965
A reunion was organised and well patronised by ex teachers and students.
The 'old' portion of the school, demolished in January 1971.
Mr. Peter Grice was appointed Headmaster in 1974.
Foundations were excavated for the new Library / Resource Building
All children participated enthusiastically in the 'Jump Rope for Heart Project"
School celebrated its 70th Year on the current school site.

Maddington Primary School is 100 Years Old.
